De belangrijkste functie is het weergeven van de status van zowel de hoofdaccu als de huishoudaccu. Door continu de spanningsniveaus van beide accu&#8217;s te monitoren, waarschuwt de controller gebruikers in geval van overmatige ontlading of overbelasting. In dergelijke gevallen wordt naar keuze een visueel als een hoorbaar alarm geactiveerd om u direct te waarschuwen. Een extra functie van de Dual Battery Controller is de mogelijkheid om een scheidingsrelais te overrulen. Dit stelt gebruikers in staat de startaccu en huishoudaccu met elkaar te verbinden wanneer dat nodig is, een zeer nuttige functie bij het gebruik van een lier of voor het jump-starten van de motor met
